Kids Things to Do in Seattle

So there are things you can take the family to in Seattle and there are FUN things you can take your family to in Seattle. Here is my list.

I do not include Zoos, Aquariums or Museums (personal childhood pet peeve of mine).

Seattle Children's Theatre
Best Seattle Parks (bring a glove and ball or soccer stuff)
Mounger Swimming Pool (has a corkscrew slide and shallow area for kids to learn)

Free: Sailboat Ride with the Center for Wooden Boats

  • Ride a sailboat for free
  • Come down in person to sign up as early at 10:00 a.m. for our 2 p.m. sail – space fills up soon, so come early. You do not need to be present while waiting
  • It's free so no complaints
  • They also rent boats if you want to take the wheel

  • Great hangout
  • Rollerblade, Beach Cruiser, Longboard(my favorite), and no worries
  • Bonfires and add marshmallows/barbeque = amazing
  • Great date spot
  • Nice restaurants and beautiful view of Seattle skyline
